She said, “I was working full time for another employer and working on a self-employed basis running tgi MEDIA.”

“Starting the business seemed liked a natural thing to do as my client base grew. I therefore took the decision to leave my current employer, rent an office and I took on my first employee in December 2015.”

Employee, David Wriglesworth, 24, a journalism graduate from the University of Lincoln is hoping to help grow the business even further within the next 12 months. He said, “I have always been passionate about social media marketing, and to be able to help businesses boost their online presence makes it worthwhile.”

“It’s great to be involved with a company that always puts its clients best interests first and I hope that we can continue to do so for years to come.”

The company plans to expand further in the next few months and is already working with a number of organisations including Teesside University by offering students placements.

Free social media drop-in sessions are also being planned for local  businesses, with the aim of empowering other owners to make full use of online tools which are available.
